THE FOUNDER MEMBERS OF FONU
Richard Kikonde is a senior civil servant who served in the Northern Uganda for many years. He got married to Catherine Ruth in 1989. Richard and his wife Catherine have 3 children. One boy and two girls. All the three children were born in Lira Lango sub region, Northern Uganda. He built a house in the same area where he settled with his family until he left the country to come to U.S.A. in 1999 in the state of Pennsylvania where he lived up to now. The organization is comprised of 8 members listed as follows 1. Richard N. Kikonde - executive officer 2. Catherine Ruth Kikonde - international executive officer. Mrs. Catherine Ruth Kikonde is a very dedicated individual. She was born in Lira, Northern Uganda she worked in the ministry of health Mulago hospital as a nurse. Her concern is to help and support women, children, elderly age women and men, and the youth to reform after being displaced from there homes and settled in camps for several years due to the insurgency of civil war which has lasted over 25 years resulting to sicknesses and helplessness.
